What is the minimum amount of contacts for each marketing campaign?
The minimum will be dependent on whether you are targeting new businesses or established businesses in your area. If you are looking at marketing your services to established businesses we would prefer not to work with less than 150 contacts for each monthly campaign. This provides sufficient work within the 3 month trial to demonstrate our effectiveness.

How often would we have to run a campaign?
This is entirely down to yourself and which service you are requiring. For new client acquisition we would discuss your marketing plan and what you are looking to achieve i.e. how many clients over what time scale, and we would put a proposal to you of how much work we would need to try to achieve that target.
We are completely flexible on the frequency aspect with all our services and will work closely with you to achieve your objectives.

What percentage of calls convert to a positive lead?
There is no doubt that marketing to new business start ups produce a higher conversion rate than that of established businesses. Additionally geographical areas are not the same with some areas producing very different results to others.
This can be further influenced by your competitors and more specifically whether they too are actively promoting their services at the same time to the same target market. Talk to us to see if we can give a realistic conversion rate based on your services and your target geographical area.

What percentage of leads sign up as clients?
As a business we do not measure this. Signing up a prospect is down to the sales skills of the client. However, we have received feedback from clients that 75-80% of our appointments do sign up although typically up to 50% is more realistic. It really is dependent on your own selling skills. If you are concerned about the conversion rates, please do consider our Sales Follow Up service to further increase your results. Do also remember that any prospect may choose to see more than one accountant to ensure they have the right professional for their business.

Do you guarantee results?
We would love to be able to guarantee agreed targets for all our areas. However, experience shows that not all areas respond in the same way, secondly we are reliant on the contact having an identifiable need. We can no more guarantee that than you can, that is why we charge on results. Clearly if the results really do not follow through we will discuss this and a way forward will be agreed.

Will you be marketing my competitors in my target area?
We work within strictly allocated postcode areas. Under no circumstances will MBS promote your competitors to the same target market in the same postcode area at the same time. We are very strict to ensure we have no conflict of interest with any of our services.

What are your charges?
For our basic appointment setting service our charges are based on an initial set up fee to cover the cost of understanding your specific target market and setting up the appropriate data search, developing your personal introductory letter, campaign set up and finally team training. We then charge a small amount per contact (to cover the monthly administration, mailing preparation and postage, telephone calls and data where applicable) with an additional charge once we are notified that the appointment has gone ahead. These amounts will vary depending on the size of your practice, the frequency and the number and type of mailing for each campaign.
All other services will be charged according to your personal requirements.

Will you be looking for a percentage of our sign up fees?
Absolutely not! The sales process is for you to manage, I am confident that you will only be sent top quality leads. What happens after that is entirely down to your own selling skills and experience.
